Classroom Design

Classroom Design: Where Aesthetics and Affordability Connect.

K-12 schools and early childhood learning centers are rethinking how classroom learning spaces can be updated and redesign to accommodate rapidly changing instructional and health and safety needs. With a new emphasis on flexible classroom configurations, educators and the design teams supporting them are looking for ways to answer the needs for 1:1 instruction, small group, and whole class learning, along with providing spaces for activities like independent reading, dramatic play, and exploration in STEM and STEAM topics.

Virtual reality (VR) makes the classroom design process more collaborative, creative, and productive, by giving educators and designers a 3D view of design options and alternatives, so together, they can make the decisions that learners’ and teachers’ needs and meet budget requirements. VR provides a new environment for serving the needs of school facilities managers, educators, and designers alike and that leads to optimal decisions and welcoming environments for learners.
